As the most laid back of the clans, Ragnarok has few limitations on who is welcome. Humans and demons alike dwell in the sparwling compound with the freedome to choose from varied living quarters. A demon-made forest, several hours' of walking from Edo, shelters the ancient structure. The tangle of undergrowth is all but impassable to those unwelcome, but well hidden paths provide safe passage to those who know of their existence. However, though those of Ragnarok are generally friendly to strangers and are known for their protective nature of living things, newcomers wandering the forest unannounced are dealt with often rather harshly.

In the heart of the forest sits a modest, once grand stone shrine. Previously a site of burial, the original tomb serves as the entrance to underground caverns where the majority of demons and humans reside. Mirrors, large air vents, and sun chambers dot the vast network, bringing light to the gloomy passages by day. At night, thin troughs of oil along the ground are lit, only to be feared by those not conscious of where their kimonos decide to flutter. In one particularly large sun room, silk ribbons adorn with simple glass beads that stretch across the roof. Light catches magnificently on the beads, the clan's most prized possessions, creating an almost lively atmosphere on their own. It is here that the clan tends to train.

The gardens surrounding the shrine hold housing for clan members more inclined for a life outdoors. Long, wooden buildings serving as bunkers and stables for humans' horses are found here. Many large cracks and holes, meant to bring in light to the lower tunnels, are veiled by low, pale green tents of silk to protect the passages from the rain. Three foot walls, built up from the stone tunnels below, ward off any water that slips passed the protection of the tents.
